About Your Trainer
Hi, I'm Anu, founder and lead trainer at Yellowtail Dog Training.
I'm a professionally trained dog trainer based in Walthamstow, East London, with hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments. My approach is rooted in building strong, lasting relationships between dogs and their owners through trust, clear communication and confidence.
Whether you're welcoming a new puppy, working through behavioural challenges such as reactivity, or simply looking for calmer, more enjoyable walks, I provide structured, practical training tailored to both you and your dog.
I have completed the Canine Coaching Accredited Diploma delivered by Canine Principles, the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) 4-Day Practical Dog Training Course, and the Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor Course. My training is grounded in science-based, positive reinforcement methods that are ethical, effective and designed to support long-term behaviour change.
I am also an Approved Canine Nutrition & Wellness Expert, allowing me to take a more holistic approach to training by considering how nutrition, health, enrichment and lifestyle can influence behaviour, learning and overall wellbeing.
I believe successful dog training is about much more than teaching commands. It's about helping owners understand why their dog behaves the way they do, building clear communication, and creating calm, confident partnerships that last a lifetime.
Every dog is an individual, which is why I tailor every session to suit your dog's personality, learning style and your family's goals. My aim is to give you the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to continue making progress long after our sessions have finished.
At Yellowtail Dog Training, training should feel enjoyable, achievable and rewarding for both ends of the lead.
