Private Training Across London
Personal training designed around your dog, your home and the way you live.
Every private programme is led by Anu Majhu, Yellowtail’s Founder and Lead Trainer. Expect force-free, reward-based training, clear explanations, practical exercises and support without judgement. We give your dog space to feel comfortable and time to learn at their own pace.
Walthamstow roots. Private dog training across London.
Based in Walthamstow, Anu works with puppies, adolescent dogs and adult dogs at home and in the places you use every day. Local enquiries are welcome from Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford and Hackney.
For North and Central London, enquire about Islington, Stoke Newington, Hampstead, Highgate, Primrose Hill and Marylebone. Private training enquiries are also welcome from Chelsea and Kensington. Share your postcode so Anu can confirm availability, travel arrangements and the appropriate programme before you book.
Training for the London life you share
From settling in a flat and navigating communal entrances to walking on busy pavements or finding focus in a park, sessions address your real routine. Environments and exercises are chosen to suit your dog’s age, confidence and needs.

Life Together — £350
Three extended sessions for confident London living
For adolescent and adult dogs who need practical support with busy streets, exciting parks, visitors, recall, lead walking or settling.
We work in the places where difficulties actually happen, helping you build calmer responses, clearer communication and a stronger working partnership.
What we work on:
-
Loose lead walking in busy places
-
Recall around distractions
-
Impulse control and frustration
-
Over-excitement or “big feelings”
-
Calm behaviour at home and outside
-
Focus and connection when things get harder
How we do it:
-
Three private 75-minute sessions
-
Training in the home, street and local park
-
A progressive plan with support between sessions
This stage is about refinement, not failure. Most dogs don’t need “starting again” — they need support through change.
-

Online consultations — £65
Personal online support wherever you live
A focused one-hour consultation with Anu over Zoom or Microsoft Teams to understand your dog, your routine and the challenges you’re facing, with practical first steps to try at home.
Online coaching can support puppy preparation, toilet-training routines, settling, recall foundations and everyday behaviour.
Choose a £65 initial consultation, the three-session Puppy Welcome Programme at £150, or four-session Online Coaching at £250. The four-session programme includes an initial consultation and three follow-ups, a tailored action plan between sessions and progress reviews.
Visit Yellowtail Online for the full options. Where a dog needs clinical behaviour support, Anu will recommend an appropriate qualified professional.
